In partnership with the Lille International Film Festival, and as a parallel section to its 3rd edition, Med-Screen has participated in the organization of a special Focus on Lebanon.

The event, held in Lille, France, took place between the 26th of June and the 1st of July 2007. The selection was composed of 2 Arab MEDA features and 2 Arab MEDA documentaries.

5 professionals have been invited by the consortium to present and discuss their films with the French public:

Ghassan Salhab, director of the Lebanese feature The Last Man
Michel Kammoun, director of the Lebanese feature Falafel
Elie Mitri, main cast in the Lebanese feature Falafel
Hady Zaccak, director of the Lebanese documentary War of Peace
Jean Chamoun, producer of the Lebanese documentary Beirut Diaries: Truth, Lies and Videos
