In partnership with the art house Filmhouse, Med-Screen has organized an Arab Film Week, entitled New Cinemas of the Arab World.
The event, held in Edinburgh, Scotland, took place between the 2nd and the 9th of April 2007. The selection was composed of 6 features and 5 MEDA Arab documentaries.
2 filmmakers have been invited by the consortium to present and discuss their films with the Scottish public:
Ghassan Salhab, director of the Lebanese feature The Last Man
Nida Sinnokrot, director of the Palestinian documentary Palestine Blues
