FILM WEEKS iCALENDAR iLondon Film Week [February '08]

In partnership with Parallax Media and L’Institut Français, Med-Screen has organized an Arab Film Week, entitled Women’s Cinema from Tangiers to Tehran.
The event, held simultaneously in London & Cambridge, UK, took place between the 20th of February and the 2nd of March 2008. The selection was composed of 6 feature films, 5 documentaries, 1 short film and 6 experimental Arab MEDA films.

4 filmmakers have been invited by the consortium to present and discuss their films with the British public:
Hala Khalil, director of the Egyptian feature film Cut & Paste
Nadine Labaki, director of the Lebanese feature film Caramel
Hala Abdallah, director of the Syrian documentary  I am the One Who Brings Flowers To Her Grave
Maysoon Pachachi , director of the Lebanese documentary Bitter Water
