In partnership with the Augsburg Independent Film Festival, and as a parallel section to its 19th edition, Med-Screen has organized an Arab Film Week, entitled Focus on Arab Cinema.  

The event, held in Augsburg, Germany, took place between the 20th and the 25th of March 2007. The selection was composed of 4 features, 8 documentaries and 9 short MEDA Arab films.

9 filmmakers have been invited by the consortium to present and discuss their films with the German public:

Bassem Fayad, director of the Lebanese documentary Road Beyond Sunset
Dalida Ennadre, director of the Moroccan documentary I Would Like to Tell You
Fuad Alaywan, director of the Lebanese short See You Later
Hazim Bitar, co-director of the Jordanian short Sharar
Meyar Al-Roumi, director of the Syrian short Rabia's Journey
Sameh Zoabi, director of the Palestinian short Be Quiet
Tamer El-Said, director of the Egyptian short On a Monday
Rabee Zureikat, Board of the Amman Filmmakers Cooperative
