FADHEL JAZIRI - Director / Producer
The decors of the thirties don’t exist anymore. Even the Medina is no longer the same as it used to be. Tunis has changed a lot in the past seventy years.
I used to work in a closed area. In this movie, I have many comedians and stuntmen so I thought to group them here; protect them and also do my job as I see it.
In this place provided to us by the power and gas company (STEG), we have fit out 4 big shooting sets that will hold each one 12 decors; so that we will build 48 different decors.
The thirties are very important, because they were years of revolution and renovation. It was when Tunisians started to be aware of their personality, and to stand for their freedom.
Those were our fathers. If we want to transmit anything to our children, we have to show them how their grandparents used to behave. |
