In partnership with the Stockholm International Film Festival, and as a parallel section to its 17th edition, Med-Screen has organized an Arab Film Week, entitled Arabica. The event was held in the Swedish capital between the 16th and the 26th of November 2006.
Five professionals, invited by Med-Screen, came to Stockholm to present their films:
Djamila Sahraoui, director of the Algerian feature Enough! (Barakat!)
Marwan Hamed, director of the Egyptian feature The Hacoubian Building
Swel and Imad Noury, co-directors of the Moroccan feature Heaven's Doors
Tahani Rached, director of the Egyptian documentary These Girls
