FILM WEEKS iCALENDAR iSeville Film Week [November '06]

In partnership with the Seville International Film Festival, and as a parallel section to its 11th edition, Med-Screen has organized an Arab Film Week, entitled Arabica. The event, held in Seville, Spain, took place between the 8th and the 10th of November 2006. The selection was composed of five feature MEDA Arab films.

A press conference launched the Arabica section on the 9th of November, in the presence of Aude Erenberk of Europa Cinemas, representing Med-Screen, and 4 professionals invited by the consortium to present their latest works:

Khalil Joreige, co-director of the Lebanese feature Perfect Day
Swel and Imad Noury, co-directors of the Moroccan feature Heaven's Doors
Abel Djafri, supporting role in the Franco Algerian feature Bled Number One
