I have always been attracted by the story of ‘Hassiba,’ and I was pleased to read the script that the director had written, which made me instantly accept to play a role in it, even if it was a limited one.
This film gives the Syrian drama, the Syrian woman and the Syrian history the credit they deserve. At that time, Syria used to value its female citizens much that it does today.
‘Hassiba’ is a film that stresses on the true aspect of the Syrian woman and its effective role in the social, economical and even political fields.
I play the role of a journalist who is deceived by life, and decides to leave the country. |
