This is not the first time I work with IBRAHIM. I worked on a film that he produced. It is Nawfel SAHAB TABA’s film:’’KOTBIA’’
Now, I am his assistant as a director.
IBRAHIM has the ability to listen to people. From a human point of view, he is lively and very generous with the effort. I am like him; this is why we get along very well.
Due to lack of means, we wanted to make IBRAHIM’s film in four weeks. This was too much for the actors, technicians and for all. Then, we made it longer…one more week improved the shooting quality and the final cutting.
It is a police drama but without too many special effects or any American actions. This is how we managed a limited budget. Also by having good comedians such as Mohamed ALI, Monem CHOYET, DORRA, Mohamed GRAI who know what we exactly expect from them; which goes without saying. |
