Nadim Sawalha - ACTOR

My name is Nadim Sawalha, I am an Arab actor. I live and work in London and throughout the world, and now I am working in my motherland, Jordan.
I play the role of Captain Abou Raed, an ordinary Jordanian person, living in a deprived area. He's in this world yet not from it, for his financial needs are mostly inexistent yet his spiritual and moral beliefs are numerous. Throughout his journey in the film, we are introduced to the various social classes prevailing in Jordan, from the richest to the poorest, the child who doesn't have enough money to allow his education, so he trades goods on the streets…
I am putting into this role my whole life experiences. Therefore if I were to live in Abou Raed's environment, I would have totally been Abou Raed.
I love to work with the younger generation, for I like to witness the new talents emerging. I find it very exciting to watch young guys and girls as they open up to life and make good usage of their abilities.
Amin is a very devoted, humble and trustworthy filmmaker, who's always ready to listen and discuss with you. Working with him is a pleasure.
