Making of directed by Sabine Choucair

Fatma Adel – Actress

My name is Fatma Adel, studying at the Institute of Arabic Music. I am a singer, a dancer and an actress. I'm playing the role of Hind, a Fine Arts graduate who designs puppets. She needs some pictures from the photographer (the main character, Tarek) to be  included in her show. She calls him to meet and get to know each other in order to explain to him what her project is about. They spend a day together and he instantly senses fatherly feelings towards her. A friendship quickly develops between the two.
I have been an actress and singer in theater since I was a child, yet this is only my second experience in the cinema field.
I have never played the role that resembles me and my entourage that much, which is the girl who works in fine arts.
The whole subject interests me; I am concerned with the political events that are currently happening… wars on various levels: between the states, internal wars between humans as well as individual wars and personal conflicts - such as the guy who's into Hashish yet refuses to drink water. Numerous details that we never care to think about.
