Amr El Saify - Producer

Speaking of the “Good News” productions in general, I would say that the company’s work has basically taken Egyptian and Arab films into a new scale which has not been achieved before. The main reasons for this rely in the film industry itself: the pre-production process, the choice of crew members through the assistance of French, British or Americans talents (we are working with a British cinematographer on this film), the shooting of specific scenes outside the original country as well as working on the set. None of these aspects have been neglected since our aim was to work on these key elements in order to achieve the film as we envision it.
The distribution is another successful step for Good News Productions. The films now have the chance to be screened in France, the United States and Europe. They are nowadays generating an income outside Egypt, the Gulf countries and the Arab World, which used to be the traditional release territories.
The importance of the film lies in the fact that it is a mega production with a cast of high ranking stars. I think it will be remembered as being a good film in the next 100 years. Through this work, we are trying to present to the world markets a production that goes in hand with the current standards.
