Arezki Larbi - Art directo rand costume designer

I think this is the best experience I've had so far in cinema. It is mostly due to the friendship between Brahim Tsaki and myself. He made me go far beyond my work as an art director and costume designer because, in this film, I handle both positions.

He has never guided my decors. I have read the scenario and have placed the objects as I have seen them, as I have felt them with the material that I wanted to use.

We have discussed a lot, eliminating the idea of working on a desert that would be Algerian. We thought that this film might take place in any desert in the world. This is why we tried to eliminate all possible references that could be related to the Algerian, the Libyan or Mauritanian desert. We really wanted to make a film that talks about a desert that could be located in any part of the world.

Doing this film was easy and hard at the same time, but we managed to overcome all constraints and unexpected happenings.
